A lonely place of dying.
You know, that cover’s really pretty but… as long as we’re romanticising violence against women, is there any reason her ass has to be exposed like that? (Her skirt is pushed way the fuck up). Do we have to romanticise sexual assault against women too?
This is my Yale Stewart commission, which I linked before from his blog.
Here also are the pencils! Yale’s kind enough to add a colored print for an additional price. I’ll be hanging the colored print on my wall and storing the pencils in a portfolio for now. The piece instantly gave me an idea for a second one to go with it. Yale’s only taking commissions for shows right now but we’ll see what we can do, eh?
Screencapping this, since I can’t reblog it and it’s worth promoting more widely. What a superb question! Thoughts?
The sheer amount of handsomeness contained in this panel is ridiculous. I love all their faces, and Tim fixing Damian’s collar, and Damian’s shoes, and did mention all of their faces?
And Dick’s waistcoat!
Lovd this book and the art is good, but he really needs to work on faces and hair. These men are clones, not variations on a theme, and Lincoln March looks more Bruce Wayne than Bruce does, who looks 22.
